Hotel Arles Plaza

A really good hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast but quite understaffed which compromises the experience a bit as anytime you need to reach reception or ask any of the staff for assistance it takes a long time. The one receptionist on duty seems to be required to be a jack of all trades providing all assistance required from receiving guests, sorting out issues in your room and attending to issues at the wellness centre. The breakfast is quite good and had fresh orange juice which was wonderful. The staff for breakfast also seemed short staffed as items on the buffet would run out and it would take a while before the staff noticed and replenished on time as they were juggling a lot of things. This could easily be solved if the hotel increased the staff complement to avoid having customers having a compromised experience. The room was overall really good and the one I booked had complimentary bar service which was great and convenient. The jacuzzi wasn’t warm due to technical issues which was disappointing and when I tried the steam room it also seemed to have technical issues. Let the water run for a while longer than you’d expect in order to get hot water. Overall if they increase the staff compliment and attend to the technical issues it’s a really great place and very well located! I would definitely come back!
